Robert Plant: English rock legend Robert Plant is of course, best known for being the lyricist in Led Zeppelin and his successful partnership with Jimmy page.
He has a note-worthy solo career also beyond the band but his perhaps best loved for his flamboyant stage persona with his long hair and elaborate clothing during the 'Zeppelin' years.
Born in West Bromwich, Plant went solo from 1982 onwards and recently won a Grammy Award for 'Best Album of the Year' in 2009 for 'Rising Sand'.
