Coventry Festival Of Motoring: Coventry Festival of Motoring is a fun-packed weekend of entertainment and car runs celebrating Coventrys unique motoring heritage and takes place on 5th & 6th September 2009.

This years event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before with over 550 veteran, classic and vintage cars and motorcycle entries, from all over the UK and beyond so it promises to be yet another memorable weekend.

Coventry Festival of Motoring kicks off on Saturday 5th September with a parade of vehicles through Coventry city centre.

This is followed by a packed programme of entertainment including stunt motorcycle riding, family entertainment, brass bands and insight into some of the vehicles taking part in the weekends event.

Sunday 6th September starts early as hundreds of cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles gather at the War Memorial Park to embark on the 60 mile route through the countryside of Coventry and Warwickshire.

The vehicles will then return for a spectacular display of motoring heritage with prizes being awarded for best vehicle, best vehicle made in Coventry, best costume/fancy dress and others. There will also be another afternoon of great family entertainment in the Festival arena.
