The Shires Shopping Centre is inviting the local community to join them on Saturday 18th March to celebrate the official unveiling of their
Between 11am and 4pm a number of celebratory activities will be taking place in the centre, including an art workshop where young visitors will be able to decorate their very own copy of the new shopping centre logo. A free face painter will also be on hand and the centre will be giving away balloons and cupcakes. The first 50 people to visit the celebration area near Boswells will also receive a canvas shopping bag.
Additionally, to fit in with the theme of ‘out with the old and in with the new’, Children’s Hospice South West will be in the shopping centre inviting the local community to donate items such as clothing, DVDs and accessories that can go on to be sold in their shop on Silver Street.
Sarah-Louise Moore, Centre Manager at The Shires Shopping Centre, commented:
“We’re delighted with our new look and we look forward to welcoming the local community to the centre to celebrate with us. As well as updating our logo and signage, we also have a brand-new website which will not only include all the information about the stores in the centre, but will also be the place to go to find out about special offers, latest news and shopping centre events.”
The Shires free celebratory event takes place on Saturday 18th March between 11am and 4pm.
