Rob Mullholland & Ciamh McDonnell Miscellaneous

‘Popular Comedian’ Rob Mulholland & Caimh McDonnell: Preview

‘Popular Comedian’ Rob Mulholland

Popular comedian, working class hero and all-round good egg Rob Mulholland attempts to conquer arts festivals by doing a show devoid of humour or joy or laughter. In it's place is dead sad stories cynically designed to make middle-class critics cry in order to win awards because that's all that matters in comedy.

A subversive and hilarious show about defying the expectations of the privileged few who act as the gatekeepers of a democratic artform.

One of the fastest rising new comedians on the circuit, Rob regularly induces labour/heart attacks with his intricately woven, gag-packed stories; adding a touch of the absurd to his askance glance at everyday life.

“If you only go see one comedian this month, make it Rob Mulholland” The Skinny

“Very, very tall and equally as talented” TimeOut

Caimh McDonnell: Preview

Caimh McDonnell is an award-winning stand-up comedian, author and writer of televisual treats.

An hour of sharp witted stand-up from the incorrigible Irishman. Turning 40 was fine, nearly dying wasn't.

In his time on the British stand-up circuit, he has firmly established himself as the white-haired Irishman whose name nobody can pronounce. He performs regularly at all the major clubs and is equally at home doing a set or acting as MC. He regularly supports Sarah Millican on tour and has also brought the funny worldwide, doing stand-up tours of the Far East, the Middle East and once, the near east (Norwich). He brings a new stand-up show to the Edinburgh festival pretty much every year, mainly as an excuse to eat things that’ve been deep fried.

His debut novel ‘A Man With One of Those Faces’ is about to be published. He considers it the best thing he has ever done. He also created the irreverent live show Panelbeaters with Gary Delaney, which is soon to take up monthly residencies at the Comedy Store Manchester and The Stand Newcastle. It will then be podcasted out to mankind in general in a last desperate attempt to fend off nuclear war.
