All entry fees go straight towards supporting Sue Ryder care in the local area, and while there is no obligation to raise funds through sponsorship, those who raise £50 or more will be entered into a prize draw to win a mystery bike related prize from our sponsors at All Terrain Cycles.New for 2016 is a team entry for groups of four people in the Charlotte and Emily Rides. The Routes Our three routes: Charlotte, Emily and Anne, take their names from the three Bronte Sisters who lived in Haworth and were inspired in their writing by the stunning and challenging landscape that the routes navigate.
Charlotte A 27.6 mile extreme challenge route - following the very popular new route used in 2013. Riders tackle the notorious 'stairs' and goes over the moors to Widdop, towards Worsthorne and back via a relatively new section of the Pennine Bridleway and then descend the 'stairs'. View the route.
Emily This is the same new intermediate route of 23.4 miles which was very popular in 2013. The route goes over the moor to Widdop then to Shuttleworth Pasture, historic Wycoller and back via Stanbury. It is a challenging mix of tracks, trails and minor roads, but not as intense as the Charlotte. View the route.
Anne - still to be finalised Featuring a less rugged terrain with just three difficult climbs, this route is ideal for less experienced riders. As well as the 13 mile option there is a 2 mile extension option, which takes in more of the beautiful St. Ives Estate at Bingley. The Anne route includes a scenic loop from Oxenhope towards Crossroads, Hainworth, Harden and Cullingworth. Suitable for the family and younger children, but under 11ās must be accompanied by an adult. View the route.
All routes start and finish at Oxenhope Recreation Ground. All participants will receive a medal and a well earned complementary hot meal at the finish.
