Horsforth Village Museum

Horsforth Village Museum, Horsforth, Yorkshire, LS185JB

Horsforth Village Museum: Horsforth, once described as the largest village in England, has somehow managed to retain some of its village identity and character in spite of being absorbed into the urban sprawl of Leeds.

The museum aims to reflect this heritage through exhibitions drawn from all aspects of life in and around Horsforth village. Housed in the former council chambers it has an atmosphere and friendliness only to be found in a committed local history museum.
