Yotrkshire Thre Peaks Walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care: Are you tough enough to take on the challenge of summiting three peaks - in one day! This is a true challenge for any walker. This famous and demanding 26 mile hike takes in the three highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-Y-Ghent (2,277ft), Whernside (2,415ft) and Ingleborough (2,375ft). Not to be underestimated, the ever changing terrain and weather of the ruggedly beautiful Yorkshire Dales will not only test your physical stamina and capabilities, but will push you to your limits! So, are you ready to take on this ultimate endurance challenge?
By taking on this challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care you'll be raising much needed funds to enable our nurses to continue to provide specialist end of life nursing care to terminally ill patients with cancer and other illnesses within the comfort of their own homes.
The event is open to anyone 14 yrs and upwards and each participant will receive a complimentary mountain challenge t-shirt on registering.
