Athlete: Creating their Indie-Rock since 1999, Athlete hail from London and consist of musicians Joel Pott, Carey Willets, Steve Roberts and Tim Wanstall.
Jonny Pilcher from Weevil also joins them for additional live guitar.
They have released 4 albums to date, the latest of which was 2009 and titled 'Black Swan'.
The band first started jamming together at the tender age of 14, their debut album 'Vehicles and Animals' was a Platinum seller in 2005 and their later album 'Tourist' made Platinum also with more than 500,000 sales.
Athlete are Ivor Novello Award winners and have a current 29 date tour (2009-2010).
