Northern Contemporay Furniture Makers An: Annual exhibition of contemporary furniture by Northern Contemporary Furniture Makers (NCFM), hosted by Tennants Auction House, in Leyburn.
The exhibition, now in its 4th year, reflects the extraordinary variety that northern makers offer - from jewellery boxes to dining suites, from lounge tables and to dressers and desks.
The range of designs, shapes, colour, texture and techniques used make the exhibition a real celebration of the creative talent and skill of the makers.
Many of the pieces on show are for sale but the makers are all incredibly experienced in turning someones ideas into reality. So the exhibition is also an opportunity for visitors to speak with the makers and find out how easy and gratifying the experience of ordering a bespoke piece of furniture can be.
A charity preview evening will take place 10th September in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance (10 entrance fee). See our site for details.
