Back for it's 4th year, this vintage festival will have it al! Stalls, workshops, live music and over 200 classic cars!

Grab your trilbies, don your best frock, shine up your chassis and put the 12th June 2016 in your diary, Scampston Hall’s Big Vintage Weekend is back for a FOURTH year! Set in the picturesque lakesaide gardens of the regency Scampston Hall, which is home to the award winning Walled Gardens, this event is set to be the perfect vintage festival!

Love the idea of a quintessential vintage garden party in the immaculate grounds of Scampston Hall early summer 2016 – then this event is FOR YOU! Once again hundreds of stunning classic cars organised by NECPWA will be on show, live music from some super vintage acts. Lindy Hop dance lessons, a vintage tea-tent with gorgeous vintage afternoon teas supplied by Melonberry Vintage, vintage-inspired workshops running throughout the day, vintage beauty bar, vintage photo-booth, as well as of an array of the UK’s best vintage stalls.

Not to forget children’s entertainment to keep the kids happy while you transport yourself back in time! Alongside a vintage ice-cream trike by A Taste of Italy, and some lovely vintage themed food and drink stands!

AND if that’s not good enough for 2016 we are introducing a craft ale zone AND Pimms and Prosecco lounge by the lake! Phroar what a day! MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED over the next 6 months!

Workshops confirmed:

Hula like in the fiftys – a hula hoop class with High Hoops to 50s tracks; a fun mini workout at 12pm and 3pm! The hula hoop gained international popularity in the late 1950s, when a plastic version was successfully marketed by California’s Wham-O toy company. With giveaways and national marketing and retailing, a fad was started. In July 1958 twenty-five million plastic hoops were sold in less than four months. During the 1950s, when the hula hoop craze swept the country, Carlon Products Corporation was producing more than 50,000 hula hoops per day.
