Acting Summer School 2010: This summer Sprite Productions are offering the chance for 16-22 year olds to learn from the professionals in a week long Acting Summer School.

The course is designed to give students comprehensive exposure to what it takes to become an actor, whether you are looking to pursue a career on the stage or just share a passion for amateur dramatics.

Morning sessions will be split in to developing essential theatre skills; Verse, Stage Combat, Movement, Dance, Voice and Improvisation. The afternoon session will be in the open air and focuses on rehearsing for a final performance, that friends and family are invited to watch in the delightful grounds of Ripley Castle.

One on one tutorials will also be available throughout the week in which students can develop a particular skill with the help of some of the industrys brightest stars.

Our tutors are all practicing actors, who have performed with companies such as the National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company. They have also appeared in Londons West End and in numerous TV shows.
