Our Young Performers Concert is an annual event and our chance to showcase some exceptional young talent. We always look forward to this.
This year, our guests will be:MADDISON GOODE SAXOPHONE
Maddison passed her music theory grade 5 and grade 6 with distinction on soprano saxophone while still at primary school. She was offered a music scholarship at the renowned Giggleswick School and under the tutelage of Laura Stott she achieved grade 8 on soprano saxophone. Maddison has recently begun studying Saxophone and Voice at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music.
NATHAN LI PIANO/CELLO
ISAAC LI PIANO
Nathan, now 13, was a pupil at Bradford Grammar School. He has since moved to Chetham's School of Music where he is currently in year 9. He plays piano, violin, cello and organ, and for this concert, he will play piano and cello. Before moving to Chetham’s, he studied with Dame Fanny Waterman from the age of 7.
Isaac is 12, and currently in year 8 at Bradford Grammar School. He plays piano and viola, and for this concert, he will play piano. His piano teacher is Dame Fanny Waterman, with whom he has been studying since the age of 6.
SERENE LIU PIANO/VIOLIN
Serene, now 12, is currently at Bradford Grammar School, year 8. She plays piano, violin and oboe. For this concert, she will play the piano and violin. Her piano teacher is the world famous Dame Fanny Waterman, the founder of the Leeds Piano Competition. She has been studying with Dame Fanny since age of 4.
