Summer Fun: From Monday 26 July until Friday 3 September, the National Coal Mining Museum is the perfect place to keep the children busy and there will be plenty to do whatever the weather.

Maurice the Miner is the Museums mascot and he will be giving visitors his friendly welcome. Therell be a different theme for every week of the holidays to keep the kids entertained all summer long with a variety of free art and craft activities.
