Joe Longthorne: Currently residing in his adopted home of Blackpool, Joe Longthorne is still a hugely popular and inspirational performer.

Now watched by many on Royal Variety Performances, he first rose to fame after his success on the show 'Search for a Star' in 1981 with his talents as singer and impressionist.

Having battled with Lymphoma, Leukaemia and still entertaining today, the Variety Club awarded him their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.

Joe Longthorne: Joe Longthorne will be performing live gig at Grand Opera House York venue in York, Yorkshire on the 07 May 10.
