York National Book Fair 2010: From its modest beginning with just 20 exhibitors at The White Swan Inn in York in 1974, The York Book Fair has grown into the largest, and many say friendliest, rare, antiquarian and out of print book fair in the U.K. Held over two days, around 200 of this countrys leading booksellers offer for sale a breath-taking diversity of books, as well as maps and prints, ranging in price from just a few pounds up to tens of thousands of pounds.

Facilities on site include full disabled access, a cafe serving light refreshments and lunches, free parking and a free shuttle bus by Hutchinson? running to and from York station every twenty minutes.

The Book Fair will be open from 12 noon -7pm on Friday 10/09/2010 and from 10am-5pm on Saturday 11/09/2010.
