His expertly crafted routines are masterpieces littered with an eclectic mix of offbeat original comic songs and parodies. If a Panda and Chuck Norris ever had a child, it still wouldn't match Andy Askins' efficiency at disarming people. You never quite know what he is going to say or which way it’s going to go, it could be a story, a one-liner, a song or even a poem!
Askins is also a firm favourite with the Armed Forces, having entertained troops on several tours on Naval ships in ports around the world, as well as military bases in conflict zones like Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Sarajevo, Italy, Falkland Islands, Indonesia even Somalia! Due to his dedication, Andy was also one of a very select group to be awarded the ‘Afghanistan campaign medal’, a testament to his contributions, which included several tours to soldiers operating on the frontline.
SUZY BENNETT, a proud Devonian and former Butlins Redcoat, is a dynamic and captivating comedian known for her warm, chatty stage presence and distinctive Janner accent. As a versatile performer, Suzy excels both as a headliner and a charismatic MC, effortlessly engaging audiences with her blend of observational humour and charming wit. She has graced the stages of top comedy clubs across the country and has been a popular choice for supporting major comedians such as Jimmy Carr and Russell Kane.

GREG WINFIELD (outstanding MC!) mixes densely packed punchlines with lighting fast interactions with the audience. Gleefully uncompromising, yet undeniably likeable he creates an utterly unique and hilarious experience for the crowd. Greg has supported the likes of Russell Howard, Nish Kumar, Jon Richardson, Fern Brady, and Paul McCaffrey to name a few and has written for BBC’s ‘Mock the Week’ and Comedy Central’s ‘Roast Battle’.
ELL POWELL is an observational storyteller and has gigged for Tik-Tok worldwide, as well as fantastic gigs all over the UK with some of the biggest names on the circuit… he’s also been a firm favourite laughing at the news on BBC CWR'. Doors open 7.00 pm for 8.00 pm start but why not come early for a drink or a bite? If you'd like dinner, please aim to finish eating before the comedy starts. Book a table early by contacting the venue. No food will be served during the comedy night.
