Reworked for the Roundhouse’s unique 270-degree stage, Cycles honours our deep connection to live music by featuring a dynamic seven-piece band that will drive the rhythm forwardDrawn from classical, jazz, funk, soul and R and B, the live band includes a string quartet led by Violinist Tzu-Fan Tang, multi-platinum artist Kaelin Ellis on drums, Rob Gentry on keyboards, and percussionist John BleaseOrchestration is by Peter Riley, who reunites with Asante following previous live music and orchestral collaborations
The Sunday performance will also feature the premiere of Project rEVOLUTION - an epic dance theatre production created by a new Young Dance Company in collaboration with artists from Boy Blue and the Roundhouse, featuring young people from the Roundhouse’s Music Production Drop In and Poetry Collective
