Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is a small independent charity based in Barnet / Herts and are committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer, their carers, family, and friendsOur services, which are provided free of charge, focus on the provision of high-quality cancer support, information, and complementary therapiesThese are delivered by cancer nurse specialists and by therapistsWe also have an Outreach Service concentrating particularly on providing information and support to members of black and minority ethnic groups
The number of cases of cancer is rising each year and national resources are stretchedThere is an unmet need and a growing demand for the services we provideDuring this pandemic we have had to change the way we workOur complementary therapies have been halted and visits to the centre stoppedThose with cancer and those newly diagnosed have been facing an even more uncertain future
