Born and raised in the Inland Empire of Riverside, California, he grew up in the SoCal punk sceneHe started playing drums at age nine and by 12 was regularly attending shows at The Showcase Theatre in Corona, CA, watching bands such as The Adicts, TSOL and DrKnow
In 2015, he became involved in the underground rap scene, DJing and producing for artists including Ghostemane, JGRXXN and Lil Peep as part of Schemaposse
He later performed as a touring DJ for City Morgue, while also releasing two solo albums: Waste Away (2018) and Gvllow (2020), featuring collaborations with Travis Barker, Brennan Savage and Jack Grisham (TSOL), and spawning singles including “Fear,” “Johnny Cash” and “Last Dance.”
His sound evolved in 2021 with the Spiritwalker EP, expanding into post-punk and darkwaveInfluenced by Drab Majesty, The Sisters of Mercy and Bauhaus, this shift was led by the single “Fell In Love With A Ghost,” praised by Alternative Press, followed by “Nightmare” and further releases including The Suffer EP (2022)Gvllow has been featured in Kerrang!, Revolver Magazine and Knotfest.com
In February 2024, he released Twin Flames, a project blending reworked fan favourites with new material, reflecting both the darker and lighter sides of his artistic journey
Still a fully hands-on, self-recording and self-produced artist, Gvllow also oversees his visual identity through graphic design, shaping every aspect of his creative output
With over 54 million Spotify streams, 130,000 monthly listeners and 3.8 million YouTube views, Gvllow continues to cement his place as an innovative, genre-blurring artist
