Award-winning Light Up Trails returns to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens from 27 November 2025 to 3 January 2026, bringing more festive magic, glowing landscapes and unforgettable memories than ever before.
Set against the backdrop of one of Hampshire's most beautiful gardens, this multi-sensory light trail invites visitors of all ages to wander through a reimagined winter wonderland. From the moment you step inside, the gardens are transformed into a world of dazzling lights, immersive soundscapes and enchanting festive installations.
Expect glowing gardens, enchanted hollows and sparkling dreamscapes, each carefully designed to surprise and delight at every turn. Stroll through rainbow-lit woodlands, follow glowing paths that lead to hidden treasures, and pause by shimmering ponds alive with colour and reflection. Every zone along the mile-long trail offers a new experience, blending artistry, nature and festive wonder.
Highlights for 2025 include:
Rhythm of Light - a spectacular laser and sound show filling the Himalayan Valley with energy and colour.
Bloom and Glow - the eucalyptus grove bathed in dreamy pinks, purples and fibre-optic light.
The Wish Pond - send your festive wish into the stars as projections ripple across the water.
The Food Village - a place to gather, indulge and warm up with mulled wine, hot chocolate (with all the trimmings), seasonal treats and hearty festive favourites.
