The Lady Vanishes, a comedy thriller adapted by Derek Webb From the novel by Ethel Lina White, on which the classic Hitchcock film was based.Iris Carr is a wealth socialite and we first meet her when she faints with sunstroke waiting for a train to take her back to the UK after holidaying in Eastern Europe. She shares her compartment with an assortment of characters including an elderly lady with an individual dress sense – Miss Froy. Iris befriends Miss Froy and they talk over a cup of tea in the restaurant car. Shortly afterwards, back in their compartment, Iris falls asleep but when she wakes up Miss Froy has disappeared. She is astonished to discover that the other occupants of the compartment deny she was ever there. Iris manages to enlist some help but will she manage to unravel the mystery of what happened to Miss Froy before the end of the journey?
