NEW COMEDY NIGHT COMES TO ROSS-ON-WYE
.Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at The Corn Exchange, Ross-on-Wye on Friday September 12th
Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website ChortlePrevious acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”
Topping the bill is comedian, writer, radio broadcaster and TV presenter Nick Page, a semi-finalist on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and winner of English Comedian of the YearThe seemingly indestructible, larger than life, award winning English comic, whose life is a series of disasters, somehow turning into unlikely triumphsNo gimmicks, no PowerPoint, no props and no flipchartsJust stories and belly laughs, he is a master of his art
Opening the night will be plummy, funny and firey, Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian with a rapidly growing YouTube channel of over 10K subscribers and 1 million viewsShe has performed worldwide including The Laugh Factory and world famous Improv (LA), received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and appeared on several TV programmes including Red Light Comedy Live from Amsterdam
Completing the line-up is the extraordinarily funny, 2022 Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist Hasan Al-Habab
Compere for the night will be the appealing Carl Jones, who has a natural ability of telling humorous stories, which draw in the entire crowd
