LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH
On Sunday March 22nd, Funhouse Comedy Club has a special night of comedy hosted by Scott Bennett. British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who has appeared on 'The Royal Variety Performance' and 'Live at the Apollo', had his own Radio 4 show and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival and support for Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and Micky Flanagan in arenas This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who was busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his 'Stand Up From The Shed' online show.
Topping the bill is multi-talented award winning comedian Phil Nichol, an acclaimed actor, producer, presenter, writer and musician who has also made various appearances on Radio and TV. Bursting with fun and frivolity, he loves to break boundaries and try something whilst enjoying a wonderfully hilarious mix of ridiculous rants, on practically every farcical subject conceivable. Audiences are always fascinated by his magnetic persona.
Also appearing will be BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Ricky Balshaw a former Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist, and sports pundit with a penchant for dark humour.
Completing the line-up is the warm and friendly Dawn Bailey with her honest and amusing no-holds-barred anecdotes.
