LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN NORTHAMPTON
Funhouse Comedy launches the new season at the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday January 29th with a night full of fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is the charismatic and highly talented Sony Award winner, Tom Wrigglesworth, comedian, Radio and TV presenter and voice-over artist who has had two series' on BBC Radio 4. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they're old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion never fail to captivate everyone.
Opening the night will be the delightful, fast-paced and original Harriet Dyer who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo' and 'The Russell Howard Hour', with her wacky, but true tales of life before she became a stand-up. Putting across the truth in her accounts, she connects with the audience making the stories funny. Often going off at a tangent to include the crowd, she then spins it back in her whimsical way.
Also appearing is the high energy Chris Ford, known for his sharp wit and infectious charm.
Completing the line-up will be Andy Bucks with his silly, nerdy sense of humour.
Compere for the night is James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his 'Walk of Fame'.
