The UK's biggest mobile theme park returns to Bristol from 2 April to 4 May with its biggest ever line up of attractions at an amazing price
Funderworld is Returning to Bristol This Spring The UK’s best mobile theme park is set to make a vibrant return to Bristol this spring as Funderworld brings its largest line-up yet to Durdham Downs. Organised by the Matthews family, the annual event will run from Thursday 2 April until Bank Holiday Monday, 4 May, promising a lively mix of thrill rides, family attractions and traditional fairground favourites throughout Easter and the May Day Bank Holiday period. The 2026 line-up features high-energy rides such as the Crazy Mouse Spinning Coaster, Waltzers, Sizzler, Dodgems and Freefall, alongside returning favourites Airmaxx and Equinox. Children can enjoy rides including the Mini Wave Swinger, Runaway Train and Mini Jet Planes. New for 2026 is an Après Ski party-themed four-storey funhouse, a huge Ghost Train, the Super Bob and the Extreme. There will also be an expanded entertainment schedule and relaxed sessions designed for visitors who prefer a slower-paced experience. Beyond the rides, visitors can enjoy a range of traditional fairground games with plenty of prizes up for grabs, along with a broad selection of food and drink. Options include burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries, as well as churros, doughnuts, milkshakes, barista-style coffee, cakes, pick and mix and candy floss. Funderworld has also confirmed the return of its popular bar, offering a selection of beers, wines and spirits alongside non-alcoholic beverages. Organiser Michelle Matthews said the team is looking forward to returning to the city. “We can’t wait to return to Bristol. The Downs will become a wash of colour and excitement as spring arrives, creating an accessible and welcoming space for families with plenty for all ages. Funderworld has always been about creating a fun, friendly atmosphere where families can come together and make lasting memories. We are delighted to be returning with a stellar line-up which will be our biggest ever.” Funderworld will be open from Thursday 2 April to Monday 4 May, but will be closed on 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 April.
