This German comedy, in a modern translation, is as relevant today as ever. What happens when a pompous, dishonest, greedy business man refuses to admit he’s made a huge mistake and allowed two fire raisers to move into his attic? Why won’t he throw them out even after they start filling his attic with drums of petrol and connecting a fuse? This is a play about the stupidity of ignoring dangerous people simply because we haven’t the courage to stand up to them and fight back.
