Learn about the swirling floral motifs and vibrant colours of Petrykivka painting whose intricate decoration reflects the beauty of the Ukrainian landscape and the art gained addition to the Representative List of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
Different wood pieces are displayed from the Carpathian mountains, where Hutsul highlanders make household items from local sycamore, maple, pear, apple, alder, yew, cedar, walnut, and oak
Woven towels, rugs, tablecloths and shirts are decorated with embroidered symbolic patternsUkraine’s distinctive embroidered Vyshyvanka shirts and ritual cloths Rushnyky are used in ceremonial events, weddings etc and will be shown alongside various Pysanky eggs
