A life affirming look at finding hope in the face of adversity.A unique immersive theatre experience where the audience is placed in the middle of the action. Research suggests that half of the British population will experience one traumatic event in their lifetime. How do you think you would cope if it happened to you? Thrive is a spoken word performance which shows us what happens when three people, pushed to the edge of what they can bear, dig deep and learn to live on.
Created for those who may not be regular theatre goers – This is a promenade performance so audience will be stood throughout. Comfortable footwear is advised!
Age guidance: 14+ (occasional strong language and emotional themes)
Join us for 'Thrive Night' at The Hat Factory: Celebrating Thriving with spoken word and theatre.
Start the night with some of the best local talent in spoken word showcasing their new work around the theme of Thriving. We promise you some exceptional talent and the chance to vote for the best artist, who will receive the grand prize of a professional gig and a recording session!
The winner of the spoken word competition will be announced after the Thrive theatre performance.

A Spoken Word competition to support the development of local spoken word talent, showcasing Luton spoken word artists presenting their work on the theme of ‘Thriving’.
