NEW COMEDY NIGHT COMES TO ECKINGTON
Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Eckington Civic Centre on Saturday October 21st
Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website ChortlePrevious acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."
Topping the bill is the fantastic magician and comedian Alan Hudson, who has appeared on ITV's Penn and Teller, Britain’s Got Talent and ITV's Britain's Next Great Magician, where his balloon-popping trick went down a stormUsing his blend of stand up and stunning magic, he'll firstly charm you and then with his natural wit, draw you in to his super unnatural world
Opening the night will be Karen Bayley the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong awardWith her shrewd wit and great timing she surprises her audiences with her inspired and sparkling punch-lines
Completing the line-up is Scottish funnyman Kevin Daniel one of the fastest rising stars on the Midlands circuit with hilarious, relatable material going down a storm at clubs across the regionHis commanding stage presence, exquisite storytelling and quips aplenty always leave audiences wanting more
