This three-hour course examines the Gothic genre, its tropes, and why the Gothic still appeals to readers. We will address: setting, the supernatural, unreliable narrator, the Gothic Woman, family dynamics, romance as well as other themes in relation to your own work. The course will feature small tasks to help build on your own work-in-progress and hopefully inspire a few more ideas!
