A collection of images from around the world that showcase photography as an art form
By contrast, in a world of iPhones and Instagram we now often see images that present an altered sense of reality. Although photography is a creative art form in itself, the concept of this theme showcases the results achieved when camera settings, editing techniques and creative angles are used to the photographer’s advantage.Yn hanesyddol roeddem bob amser yn ceisio dal y ddelwedd byr, un a oedd yn adlewyrchu realiti fel yr oeddem yn ei weld. Mewn cyferbyniad, mewn byd o iPhones ac Instagram rydym bellach yn aml yn gweld delweddau sy'n cyflwyno ymdeimlad o realiti wedi'i newid. Er bod ffotograffiaeth yn ffurf gelfyddydol greadigol ynddo'i hun, mae cysyniad y thema hon yn arddangos y canlyniadau a gyflawnwyd pan ddefnyddir gosodiadau camera, technegau golygu ac onglau creadigol er budd y ffotograffydd.
All art is subjective and we fully expect visitors to be challenged by the work on display. Some images may be considered beautiful, while others are thought-provoking; some may even challenge your perception on what constitutes a photographic image.
Mae pob celf yn oddrychol ac rydym yn disgwyl i ymwelwyr gael eu herio gan y gwaith sy'n cael ei arddangos. Efallai y bydd rhai delweddau yn cael eu hystyried yn brydferth, tra bod eraill yn ysgogi meddwl; Efallai y bydd rhai hyd yn oed yn herio'ch canfyddiad ar yr hyn sy'n ffurfio delwedd ffotograffig. CREATIVITY is a touring photographic exhibition, created and supported by The Photographic Angle.
