Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Century Theatre, Coalville on Saturday February 17th for a night full of laughter, as part of The Leicester Comedy Festival

Topping the bill is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of this year's 'Britain's Got Talent'Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh FestivalHis dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance

Opening the night will be the intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith comedian, choirboy and an 'aspiring' goalkeeper who has supported Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on tourHe has also made numerous TV appearances including 'Live at The Apollo', as regular host on Sky Sports' Soccer AM and on Comedy Central Live at The Comedy StoreAs a choirboy in Grimsby, he sang on 'The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the pianoThen later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees albumA professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude, he enthrals the crowd

Completing the line-up is Jules O'Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye

Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson, whose laid-back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word; his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics
