We've joined forces with the formidable duo Selecta Bros; comprising of the legendary A Guy Called Gerald alongside his creative partner JB to put on a spectacle at one of East London's latest discoveries: Mick's Garage, boasting a beautifully stripped-back industrial space, the perfect platform to showcase an evening of House & Techno..Artists on the night;
Selecta Bros : A Guy Called Gerald & JB
Where do you start with A Guy Called Gerald? A hidden gem, the gateway between Chicago house / Detroit Techno and the UK dance music explosion in the late 80s. He is one of a few special producers who entered dance music in the jacking zone. He is the first UK acid house producer and probably the first producer to have two instrumental dance tracks in the UK charts at the same.
Having shared the same passion for House & Techno, recognised on an international scale and across the London underground House movement, JB partnered with Gerald to create dynamic duo Selecta Bros, a platform to distribute their vibe to a dedicated audience!
Jef K
Parisian dj Jef K is the founder of classic deep house label Silver Network. A native of Paris, he started mixing records in 1992 after spending nine months in London. His deep, groovy and sexy house sets made him quickly earn a reputation as one of the fastest rising DJs amongst the French house scene.
Long time residencies at some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs followed and Jef K regularly graced the decks at Rex Club and Respect in Paris, Fuse in Brussels, and Robert Johnson in Frankfurt. He now returns to London for an exclusive 2 hour set for Apt: 010.
