A haze of energy and good time dance guaranteed up on the (weatherproof/heated) roof at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden

Grupo Lokito fuses two great musical styles in a glorious cocktail of Congolese and Cuban sounds
Congolese frontmen Eugene Makuta and Iddo Donnatella's glorious vocals float over the soaring guitars of Kenyan rising star Shama Shah and the rhythmic grooves of Dan WaldmanThese blend with the lilting keyboards of Sara McGuinness over the solid foundation of bassist Jimmy Martinez, Lilli Elena on Congas, and Ernesto Marichales on drums
Grupo Lokito have played at WOMAD, African Oyé, and at the South Bank Centre for the EFG London Jazz FestivalTheir gigs always pack a punch, winning them a Tropical Act of the Year at the UK Lukas Awards
The band are famed for their wild dance moves: wowing audiences and filling dance floors wherever they play
