The LP Quartet is a London-based jazz ensemble that find inspiration in the interplay between four musical personalities and the ability to create together simultaneously
From a love of Jazz and the popular music of their youth, the LP Quartet combines heavy grooves and contemporary chord progressions with a swing feel and more traditional ideas from the Jazz idiom
In his hometown of Brighton, Luke recorded his debut EP 'First Conversations' with the LP Quartet as a sax/guitar quartet, with local musicians he met on the local jam sceneHe is working with a new and exciting lineup of musicians he has met during his studies in London at Trinity Laban, with a completely new sound
In 2022 they performed at Love Supreme and New Generation Jazz Festival, the group's performance at the latter was described as "extremely deft in this early stage of evolution as they find their own voice..ones to watch."
