These paintings are found on walls, windows and even floors of the Gond Community because it is a common belief in the Gond community that a good image can earn good luck.
Today the Gond Artists use modern materials and methods brilliantly to represent contemporary scenes and concerns on canvas and paper while keeping true to age-old traditions and style. Today Gond Art is used in creating merchandise, trinkets and tokens around the world.

The picture shown in the post is just for your understanding and also a reference for you to practice further, it need not be what is going to be taught in the class. We try and plan a subject which can give you the maximum insight into the Art form. The pictures we put on the posts are actually for you to understand what you can do after attending the workshop.
We are more than happy to teach. Please note if time permits, we will answer all your queries during the class or try to email them to you.
Sometimes there are unavoidable network issues from the conductor’s end, and more often than not, these are due to some inherent issues with the Zoom app. We would greatly appreciate your patience in such conditions.
