A seaside fun filled day out for all the family with sand, paddling pool, seaside attractions including a fantastic fun park.
Come to the Beach returns to Heaton Park for the holidays with a giant beach area complete with deck chairs and buckets & spades, a paddling pool, character appearances, and its own seaside fun park with traditional family rides and attractions.
“Best of all,” says organiser Gary Gore, “admission to the event and the beach is free and while the younger ones can build the perfect sandcastle or enjoy a paddle in the pool, mum and dad can sit back and relax with an ice cold drink or enjoy a bite to eat. Come to the Beach has it all!”
For many visitors once they have soaked up some sun it will be the fun park where they will head especially as they can enjoy spin after spin on the Waltzer’s or Twister, ride high on the Cliffhanger or Big Apple Roller Coaster or test their driving skills on the Crazy Cars. With an unlimited ride wristband, priced at just £8.99 they can enjoy as many rides as they wish between 12 noon and 5pm. There are lots for the kids to sample too with the race o rama cars ride, toy ride, traditional carousel, cups & saucers and a Fun House!
Opening on Saturday 22nd of July right through until Sunday 3rd of September there will also be the opportunity in August for kids to enjoy the Big Dig where they can try their hand on their own JCB!
Come to the Beach opens daily from 12 noon until 5pm next to the boating lake at Heaton Park from Saturday 22 July through until Sunday 3 September. Entrance is free and rides can be paid for individually by purchasing tokens or sampled with the unlimited ride wristbands which are £8.99.
