Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) celebrates older women on screen and behind the camera with an annual short film festival and regular screenings and events in and around Brighton and Hove. Every film WOFFF screens has a woman over 50 at the heart of the story on screen or a woman over 50 in one of the core creative roles (writer, producer or director). WOFFF looks to create a film viewing, filmmaking and film education community centred around the lives, stories and experiences of older women.
We have a special selection of 9 films hailed as the "Best of the Fest" for you at this event from France to Afghanistan exploring themes of belonging, magic, introspection and technology.
