ATW Children's Triathlon Mallory Park June 2023 Sports

This traffic-free race circuit is the perfect venue for children to participate in triathlon.

No matter if they are a beginner enjoying the thrill of racing in open-water and cycling on a racing track, or an experienced racer looking for a professional-level experience of triathlon at a venue used regularly by British Triathlon for Elite Events

The races will be held in the British Triathlon, Tristart to Youth categoriesThis will be an open-water swim and non-drafting bike format, suitable for all standardsDue to the open-water format it is important that all children are competent swimmers

Distances are:
Tristart - 100m swim - 1.5km bike - 600m run
Tristar1 - 200m swim - 4km bike - 1200m run
Tristar2 - 300m swim - 6km bike - 1800m run
Tristar3 - 500m swim - 8km bike - 2400m run
Youth - 500m swim - 8km bike - 2400m run

This race will be included in both the East-Midlands and West-Midlands Junior Race SeriesPlease ensure that names, clubs and TriEngland membership numbers are input correctly on the registration form

The swim will take place in the open water lakeThe bike lap uses the smooth racetrack of the famous Mallory Park circuit that will inspire them with confidence and enable a grin-inducing bike leg, while the run lap enables supporters to cheer their athletes multiple times on the run

This event forms part of the Mallory Park Triathlon WeekendEntries are also available for the adult races taking place the day before

This race has an open-water swim and a draft illegal (non-drafting) bike leg on tarmac
