Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Saracens Head, Southwell on Thursday December 14th for a night full of laughter
Topping the bill is multi-award nominated comedian, presenter, actor and writer the cheeky and camp Stephen Bailey, who’s appeared on numerous TV shows including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Would I Lie To You’, Big Brother's Bit On The Side’, ‘Pointless Celebrities’, Celebrity Mastermind‘ and done warm-ups for ‘Let’s Lunch with Gino and Mel’ and ‘Loose Women’With his sharp wit and warm persona he soon has his audiences fascinated
Opening the night will be international comedian, actor and writer Brendan DempseyHis humour is of the anthropological kind; funniest when he paints the picture, then points out how daft it all is
Also appearing is the intelligent and likeable Nick Doody who whilst still a student, supported Bill Hicks on his final tour of the UK, on Bill’s requestVery popular on the comedy circuit he also writes for many popular TV comedy shows including 8 Out Of Ten Cats, Have I Got News For You, Rude Tube and for a variety of guests on Mock the WeekHis perceptive wit and sharp retorts are delivered with mesmerizing warmth
Completing the line-up will be the quirky Paul Campbell, with his personal musings
