A non-residential weekend of yoga by the sea in beautiful North Norfolk, hosted by Mandy Brinkley
The focus will be on exploring some the roots of practice:
IntentionAttending to the why of practice more than the whatThis can be as simple as asking the question “What matters most?”Answers may or may not be clear but there is power and shifts that happen by asking the question
Appreciating and utilising the power of the breathHow the way we breathe alters how we feel
Meditation
Nature and seasonal wisdom - how following the wheel of the year can support us in crafting our practice and how the beauty of nature is essential to spiritual nourishmentNature as teacher and supportIn discussion and reflection
Sound - for its healing resonance and rhythmWe will use mantra, music and humming!
All levels of experience are welcomeIn the morning I will share a yoga flow, breathwork and meditation and in the afternoon the focus will be on restorative postures, coherent breathing, reflection and Yoga Nidra
You will receive a full outline schedule and directions a couple of weeks before the weekend
Lots of lovely places to stay in the area for those coming from further afield - our base will be the village hall in Cley-Next-The-Sea
Suggested payment is £85 for the weekendIf you are unable to join for both days you are welcome to attend for just one but priority will be given to those booking the whole weekend
Days will run from 10:30am -5:30pm with a 2 hour break for lunch - bring your own or wander into Cley to one of the many places to have lunchYou can also wander down to the beach
Spaces limited to 16
Your guide for the weekend is Mandy BrinkleyMandy is originally from Norfolk and now lives in the AzoresA Yoga teacher of 20+ years she teaches yoga and breathwork workshops and trainings online and hosts international Yoga retreats
