Following the sold out launch in January, Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to Royal Oak, Edwinstowe on Friday May 10th
Topping the bill is the somewhat cynical and gloomy Mike Gunn, who despite this has the ability to get the crowd on his side, however far he pushes! In his first Edinburgh Festival Show, he appeared as a funeral director! He has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), and Harry Hill’s TV Burp (ITV)He has also been a contributor for The Guardian and written for Time Out, The List and Match of the Day Magazine and was support for Lee Mack on a huge theatre tour
Opening the night will be Irish comedian Martin MorStarting out as a circus entertainer he then decided to turn to stand-upHaving supported Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrott, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner on Tour he is one of the most popular and well-travelled comics on the circuitHis fiery insults often directed at audience members, are accepted with laughter when delivered by this gentle giant of a man
Completing the line-up is ‘Brummie’ Andy WhiteWith his mad afro and daft voices he delivers a mix of topical and observational humourHis energetic persona can change from cheeky and upbeat to deadpan, without a flinch
