Funhouse Comedy brings a night of laughter to The Garage, Chilwell (Barton’s) Nottingham on Friday November 21st
Topping the bill is Kiwi Matt Stellingwerf who is a fast-rising star of the international comedy circuitHe has numerous TV appearances under his belt in his native New Zealand and is now going down a storm in UK clubs with his side-splitting observations
Opening the night will be Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and AsiaIn the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton and Barry CryerHe has completely re-invented his act several timesIn a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing
Completing the line-up is the cheeky and cheerful Eddy Midgley with his relatable storytelling and fast moving set
Compere for the night will be BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Ricky Balshaw a former Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist, and sports pundit with a penchant for dark humour
