Lifemade for Art Exhibition: The Crocus Gallery presents 'Life...Made For Art'
This exhibition has been designed to give new artists the opportunity for the very first time to get their work on show to the public.
The show includes eight artist's artworks from their own perceptions and their everyday life experiences. For example, the binocular object questions a sense of sight, particularly questioning the role of a viewer or a viewed subject in a society where appearance is very important, even fundamental in our daily social relationships.
The resulting collection of artworks brings a diverse array of styles from sober sketch of nudes to large finished canvases exploring different aesthetic experiences. As young, and newly born to art all the artists on show bring fresh talent to Nottingham.
The Crocus Gallery is a free and unique event as it is the only time that you can come meet and greet the artists!
Launch Night : 10th February, 6-9pm
Exhibition Opening Times (after the 10th) : Tuesday - Saturday, 11am - 4pm.
Come down and support local artists in the Nottingham community!
