TV COMEDIANS COME TO SOUTHWELL
Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Saracens Head, Southwell on Thursday April 11th for a night full of laughter
Topping the bill is International stand-up comedian Paul Sinha, who has appeared on ITV's 'Tonight at The London Palladium' and is currently one of the 'chasers' on ITV's quiz show The Chase and writer/host/presenter of Paul Sinha's History Revision on Radio 4The eloquent and intelligent ex-GP has found the perfect balance of mixing politics with comedyHis one-liners are delivered with the crisp clarity of cut glass and engaging warmth, creating a hugely entertaining and captivating set
Opening the night will be the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who has appeared on TV on The Russell Howard Hour, was the support act on Michael McIntyre's recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationallyWatching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realized then that he wanted to be funny in some wayWith his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes, he enthralls his audiences
Also appearing is Jules O'Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye
Completing the line-up will be award winning magician Alex Cahill with his cutting edge, interactive magic that is sure to provokes lots of laughter
