Come and join us for a Highland extravaganza with the spectacular backdrop of the UK’s largest military fort: Fort George, near Inverness.
Getting off to a roaring start with a fly past from an RAF Typhoon and culminating in a dazzling fireworks display, the Highland Military Tattoo showcases a mix of local, military and international acts and celebrates the best of traditional and contemporary Highland culture.The largest annual Military Tattoo outside Edinburgh, this family friendly event provides a flavour of traditional and contemporary Highland culture, with highlights from The Band of The Royal Marines Scotland and military and local civilian Pipe Bands. This year there will also be local Military Wives Choirs.
One of the most dramatic military settings in Highlands, Fort George is also home to the recently refurbished Highlanders’ Museum, which has the largest collection of military artefacts outside of London. Still a working military base this hidden gem is the perfect venue to host the 2016 Highland Military Tattoo. We look forward to seeing you at Fort George!
