Waldringfield is host to a thriving network of clubs and study groups, each with its own diverse specialisms including sailing, biodiversity, history, archaeology or water quality but all in unanimous agreement over their devotion to this sheltered corner of the Deben, and all of whom will be participating in the weekends exhibition and events
Join us for a stimulating opportunity to learn about our waterfront, exchange views and share our enthusiasm for our history landscape and it's hinterland
The catalyst for this project is a research study 'The co-produced Estuary - understanding the past to inform the future', coordinated by coastal scientist, Helene Burningham, and Deben Estuary partnership trustee and Artist, Simon Read, to promote the importance of community engagement in the estuary management process
This study has been supported by the environment agency 3 C's ( Championing Coastal Collaboration) programme with further support from an award by Suffolk and Essex Coast and Heaths National Landscape.
