An evening of steampunk & steamfunk music - dressing up encouraged!
Leeds Steampunk Market and Captain Cumberpatch's Curious Creations are proud to bring youMontague Jacques Fromage and BBBlackdog
Friday 17th June 2016
at
The Albert Hotel (now just a pub)
Bridge Street, Keighley, West Yorkshire BD21 1AA
Doors open 6.30, gig starts 7pm, finishes at 10pm
£7 advance, £8 on the door
Alternating and joint performances throughout the evening with the main part of the gig ending at 10pm.
We have made this a cheaper and earlier running night due to the fact that the last trains out of Keighley are at around 10.30pm.
The pub is licenced to stay open until gone 2am so if you want to stick around, buy merchandise, take photos, have some more drinks, dance badly to some fun tunes (steampunk and non-steampunk probably) and talk nonsense until the early hours then we can do so...
This gig is on the 1st floor and regrettably has no access other than the stairs as it is an old building.
The main bar is downstairs but the room does have its own bar which will be fully stocked and open so you don't need to carry drinks up the stairs. There are toilets on this level as well and between sets smokers will obviously need to smoke outside - you are allowed to use the fire escape from the room which leads directly down to the street at the back of the pub.
We have decided to have the bar open upstairs as apparently the pub gets very rammed and busy on a Friday night so this will make it more comfortable for all.
This is a smaller venue than we have used in the past and capacity is limited to 70 (this needs to include performers etc). Booking your ticket online to secure a place is highly recommended!
