Warwick Castle Castles
Britain's greatest Mediaeval experience at Warwick Castle. castle was created as a fortification in AD 914, to protect the small hilltop settlement from Danish invaders who posed a threat to the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia. There is also a number of exhibitions featuring waxworks, making this a great day out for children as well as adults who are interested in history.
