Bath Postal Museum Museums
The Bath Postal museum introduces you to the history of written communication from clay mail to e-mail, and we have certain very special objects that will be of interest. Did you know the world's first postage stamp, The Penny Black, was sent from the building the museum now occupies!
The museum holds many rare and important artefacts. A small selection of wreck covers is available to view together with examples of lace and paper lace Victorian Valentine cards. Included in our archive are many valuable and rare artefacts that provide us with information for the museum, and exhibitions.
